Set up your mailbox

iPhone & iPad Recommended

One setup gives you mail, calendar, and contacts together.

1. Open Settings → Apps → Calendar → Accounts (on older iOS: Settings → Mail → Accounts), then tap Add Account → Exchange.
2. Enter your email address (your address), then tap Sign In Manually when prompted.
3. Enter your mailbox password.
4. For Server, enter mail.madinah.email.
5. Turn on Mail, Contacts, and Calendars as you'd like, then tap Save.

Android Recommended

Using the built-in Gmail app, mail + calendar + contacts in one setup.

1. Open the Gmail app → tap your profile picture → Add another account → Exchange and Office 365.
2. Enter your email address (your address) and tap Next.
3. Enter your mailbox password.
4. If asked for a server, enter mail.madinah.email.
5. Accept the account permissions to finish.

Microsoft Outlook

1. Go to File → Add Account (or, on first launch, the welcome screen).
2. Enter your email address (your address) and continue.
3. If Outlook doesn't detect the settings automatically, choose IMAP and enter the server settings from the manual setup section below.
4. Enter your mailbox password when prompted.

Mozilla Thunderbird

1. Go to Account Settings → Account Actions → Add Mail Account.
2. Enter your name, email address (your address), and password.
3. Click Configure manually and enter the server settings from the manual setup section below, using IMAP for incoming mail.
4. Click Re-test, then Done.

For any app not listed above, or to set things up by hand. Username is always your full email address.
